They're why we started. They're why we don't stop.

I placed 2 applications because I was facing eviction and someone reached out to me the first time saying they never received it and to redo the application and I did but I never heard anything back from anyone. I’ve tried calling every number under the United States and not one person answered either one of those numbers. I was referred my my mother because she worked with this company and knew they had this assistance but they have yet to reach back out to me in any type of a way. I really needed this assistance and they have seriously failed me because I only have 1 day before I’ll be evicted

MLBA made a difference in my life by not approve me for my grant, which caused me and my 7 month old son to get evicted from my home. I work for Alorica with a work from home position and am about to lose my job because I don’t have a home I can work from. Them not approving my application has negatively affected me and my sons life greatly. I have work for Aloricia for over a year and have donated to this organization in the past. I’m not one for asking for help but I will if I direly need it, so I did and I got rejected. This is so disappointing. I applied for this grant to help me pay for my rent for a month. I couldn’t afford my rent because I was on unpaid maternity leave and when I was ready to come back to work my position at work was unavailable. I had to wait for another job opening for another line of business to be available, by the time that happened I was behind on bills and got put in this situation.

I recently lost my sight and I am now legally blind. MLBA’s assistance that we received is the only one that didn’t make our lives harder. We were out of power for a week when you helped us, and we have been able to survive because of the help you provided for the past few months. My family and I are forever grateful for the assistance you provided. Thank you.

My children and I were homeless, living out ofhotel rooms, from one friend’s house to another, and even my own car. MLBA gave my family a second chance and a fresh start. I am forever grateful.

MLBA blew me away with their help. It is truly amazing the help and assistance that they do. With their generosity I was able to keep the lights on in my house for my kiddos and they helped me get back on track. I will always be grateful for the help I received from MLBA.

When I heard about the MLBA chapter we had here at Alorica, I was so excited and heart-filled that a company would offer such a great program to help others in need. I, right away, looked to see where I could sign up to help. I recall my conversations I would have with my peers when we had fund raisers for our wonderful MLBA chapter such as, “you never know when you will be the one looking for help,” and “be a part of something bigger than yourself for a great cause!” I had never thought that the day would come that I needed this help as much as I told others. But, the situation came up where I was in a financial bind due to unexpected medical bills with my family. I came home one day to no lights, no power at all. Not knowing where to turn, I spoke with my site manager who asked me if I had applied for the MLBA assistance. Never once when I would volunteer was I whole heartedly thinking that I was investing in my own assistance program, but I came to realize that hey … this is me and I’m in a need of help! So, with a tissue to wipe my tears away, my site ops manager directed me to apply and I was approved! I got my power back on and was able to get back on track with bills all together. All because my MLBA chapter was there for me and my family! To this day, I vowed to continue to be a huge advocate of the MLBA chapters and am a walking talking testimony of what a wonderful program this is. Forever grateful! (more…)
