Walking into my classroom after the Flood of 2016 that devastated our city of Denham Springs, LA was an overwhelming feeling. I had lost most of my things including almost all of my classroom decorations, books and cd\’s, reading and math games and lots of shelves and bookcases that housed the things I use in my class with my first graders throughout the year. My home also flooded too. When I found out that the First grade teachers, Kindergarten teachers and our Pre- K teacher would be given the opportunity to replace some of the things lost on a shopping trip to a classroom supply store to purchase items for our kids to use in our classroom, I felt very grateful. On the day that we got to shop, tears filled my eyes as I looked around the store. I am very blessed and truly thankful for the ladies that reached out to us and helped make it possible to get our classrooms ready for our children! Making Lives Better [with Alorica] made my day!
Sincerely;
