Single Mom of 3. 1 Week before my birthday it was on March 2017, I was at work and received several calls, when I finally answered, it was my neighbor saying our apartment had been shot up. When I arrived, my apartment was riddled with bullets. I lost my food, furniture, and my home. I was in the process of looking for a new home but with no luck. I was staying in a motel and my kids was staying with my mom. So from buying food to paying for a hotel it was getting hard as the days went by. On April 5 2017 I submitted my application to MLBA for assistance. Still looking for a home I was running low on money for food and somewhere to stay. But on April 12 I received the assistance I needed and I also received my key to my 4-bedroom home. Thanks MLBA it really meant so much to me and my kids.

Thanks;
