Grant Recipient Stories – December 2017

One of the many things that Making Lives Better with Alorica (MLBA) does, demonstrates the heart of Alorica employees. Each month, we receive stories from those who have been impacted by MLBA grants, showing the compassion of Alorica employees and how they are taking care of each other. Here are a few of the stories from the people whose lives have been positively touched by MLBA:

“After my son died unexpectedly, I took several days off work. There is nothing more horrible than losing your child no matter what age. I had two small checks coming and bills piling up. MLBA paid just over half of my rent which allowed me to focus on my family and get through the month. Thank you so much for everything you did. Your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.”
– Billie Ward – Joplin, MO

“I recently became a foster parent to three of my relatives and it required me to miss time from work to be able to assist them with their needs and appointments. During November, three of my five children became very ill. So with the holidays approaching and bills piling up, I had no clue how I was going to pay my rent. I didn’t want to be homeless for Christmas. Thanks to the MLBA they were able to assist me financially to ensure me and my children will be safe. I appreciate all the help that was given and cannot express how grateful I am to the MLBA.”
– Anonymous – Phoenix, AZ

“After losing my home in a fire, I was not sure about a lot of things … the main one being where my family was going to end up. Thankfully, MLBA assisted us with getting into our new home which has eased so much stress and worry from my mind. Now I can work on turning my new house into a home without worrying about what is going to happen. I feel very thankful and lucky that Durant MLBA was there to assist in my time of need.”
– Anonymous – Durant, OK
